Hey English friends,
I will show you some impressions about my winter hobby freeride skiing.
I love it to ride in the backcountry, because you can choose your own
line and try out new things. There are so many options, and I really enjoy it
because there aren’t any people as on the slope!
I always go skiing with my friend Manuel, because one should not go
alone. It’s often very dangerous, because you can trigger an avalanche!
When you go freeriding, you have to take a beeper, an avalanche shovel,
an avalanche probe and optional an avalanche airbag with you. These things are
very important for your own safety!

I want to tell you something about the Festival summer in 2015. After the last concert last year, (Seether) I have to take a look forward and I think it´s gonna be awesome.
First, OK, that´s not a festival, but a big concert. A children´s dream come true for a second time, after a great show in Wels a few years ago, I have the chance to visit another ACDC concert in Nürnberg. The ticket was not really cheap, but I think it´s worth the money.
After that, at the beginning of Juny, starts „ROCK IM PARK“. This year, and I hope it´s possible, I visit my 7th Rock Im Park festival in Nürnberg. I´m so glad.
Another reflexion is, to visit the „ROCKAVARA“ festival in Munich, but it will be a spontaneous decision. In later summer I have to go to „SzeneOpenAir“ in Lustenau. It was the first festival I´ve ever been and every year a fixed date. A couple a days after that would be „frequency“ festival, but I think until then the money is tight.

Since we hadn't been able to attend to all the concerts we planned to go to this year, me and a few friends deceided to change this and to go to more concerts in the future. There was also no better way to start this than the first weekend of december.
On friday we took my car and drove to munich, because the so called "tour of the year" took place at the Zenith.
The first band to play was Northlane from Australia, a young five-piece metalcore band, which had their first tour with their new singer. The band really gave everything but the sound was just not good. I don't know if it was their fault or if they just had a bad mix. Anyway, they just played for half an hour because they had some troubles at the beginning.

The second band was Carnifex from California. In my opinion they were the biggest surprise of the evening. I normally don't listen to them because it's just not my kind of sound but they just were a blast! I don't know how they managed it but their sound was absolutely awesome and even in the back of this big venue you could feel every bass and hear the guitar riffs crystal clear. Also their show was pretty neat.
After these bands, the two headliners started to play. First Heaven Shall Burn from Germany played for half an hour and then they covered Parkway Drive's "Unrest" and suddenly the lights went out. As they went back on a few seconds later, Parkway Drive was on the stage and nobody knew what happened in the first seconds. They also played for half an hour and covered Heaven Shall Burn's "The weapon they fear". After this the bands switched again and Heaven Shall Burn finished their show and after them Parkway Drive did the same.
Both bands were just great and you could hear that they really know how to play live shows due to the many concerts they've already had in the past. Heaven Shall Burn managed to start the biggest indoor circle pit in history (at least they told us so) and Parkway Drive had one of the best lightshows I've seen in the past few years.

After the concert some drunk german guy tried to beat us up in the parking lot, but one of the girls we had with us jsut knocked him out. It was really funny to watch. On our way home the weather wasn't that good but I managed to bring all my friends home safely.
On saturday the second concert took place. We went to the worldcup opening party in Schruns to watch "Die fantastischen Vier". There were almost 8000 people, which is pretty much for Vorarlberg but we didn't expect too much, because I think they are just past their best. I have to say I was wrong. Although their new record is absolutely mediocre their show was pretty amazing. There was no playback, just live music and those four guys + band seem like they never got old.
Also the afterparty was really funny and we also found 50€ on the floor so we had free drinks for at least half an hour.
It was a good decision to attend these concerts and I can't wait for the next ones to come. Maybe we even meet Mr. Hunter, when Texta and Blumentopf are going to play in the Conrad Sohm at 15th of March 2015 ;)
